Koger makes impact in loss
Seeing action on both offense and defense, Michigan tight end commitment Kevin Koger of Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer made his presences known in a 23-21 loss against Freemont Ross on Friday evening. While the Panthers' comeback effort came up short, Koger's contributions helped in an impressive effort.
The first 20 minutes of the contest belonged to Freemont Ross, scoring on three possessions while shutting out the home team. Just prior to the end of the half, the Little Giants had the opportunity to put the game out of reach carrying a 16-0 lead with the ball sitting on the Whitmer one-yard line. However, after four attempts to push their way into the endzone, the score remained the same, with the Panthers successfully managing a goal line stand.
