Hounsell Has Plenty Of Options
Being an offensive lineman isn't the most glorious or recognizable position on the football field. However, it might be the most important position, which is why Chad Hounshell, the 6-foot-5, 320-pound offensive tackle from Lake Catholic High School in Mentor, Ohio, continues to emerge as a hot commodity. There was a time when KU was very much in the mix for the three-star prospect, but is that still the case.
When it comes to his recruitment, Hounshell, the No. 70 ranked tackle in the class of 2008, has scholarship offers from Air Force, Cincinnati, Colorado, Indiana, Kansas, Akron, Kent, Western Michigan, Ohio and Miami-Ohio. Illinois and Michigan State are also very much in the mix.
