Surgery cuts Aghayere's spring football short
Spring football is the time to get better.
However, for Chancey Aghayere, it doesn't necessarily mean on the football field.
Suffering a knee injury in the final game of his junior season, the 6-4, 241-pound strong side defensive end got to only practice for one week this spring before going under the knife to repair his torn meniscus. Aghayere does expect to make a full recovery in time for the fall.
A member of the pre-evaluation period Rivals100 for the Class of 2008, the Garland High School product already has scholarship offers on the table from Florida, LSU, Nebraska, Louisville, Texas, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, USC and Texas A&M.
