Notre Dame in unfamiliar territory

IrishIllustrated.com Glenville High School in Cleveland, Ohio has produced many of the state's top prospects during the past several years. Much of that talent lands at Ohio State, but a few Tarblooders have escaped the Buckeyes' grasp. Yet even with the few prospects that do leave home, none have found their way to Notre Dame.
That could change in 2008 because the Irish are hot on the trail of 5-foot-11, 168-pound cornerback Donnie Fletcher.
"I get a text from Corwin Brown every day," Fletcher said. "I went there for their junior day and he talked about their defense. It sounded good to me because they said they are going to press a lot and that's the type of corner I am."
