Irish pay visit to top Texas defender
On the field, Charlie Weis hates to lose. On the recruiting trail, the Notre Dame head coach won't let the prospect of failure stop him from chasing the nation's top prospects. Earlier this week that fearless attitude led Weis and recruiting coordinator Rob Ianello to Garland, Texas to visit Chancey Aghayere.
The 6-foot-4, 241-pound defensive end is a surefire Rivals100 selection and ranks among the top prospects in Texas.
So why has Notre Dame invested so many resources in Aghayere's recruitment? Because the defensive end does plan to leave home during the recruiting process. Aghayere said Texas, Florida, LSU and Notre Dame make up his top four schools.
