Michigan picks up commit No. 3
The Michigan Wolverines have had a constant presence in the state of Ohio, regularly pulling prospects from the Buckeye State. Certain areas, though, have been tough to tap into because of their strong allegiances to the Wolverines' rival. Ohio State. On Monday, however, Michigan took one from a Buckeye hotbed.
In Wauseon, Ohio, there is no doubt who the home team is. Scarlet and Gray is the color of every day in the Northwest Ohio town and 6-6, 280-pound offensive tackle Elliott Mealer was no different than his fellow townsfolk. Problem is, a strange thing happened on his way to a college decision.
