Linebacker Machen brings the pain
Last year Michigan State was able to land one of the top players in Ohio when they signed All-American defensive tackle Antonio Jeremiah out of Hillard Darby High School. This year the Spartan staff is back at Hillard Darby to recruit linebacker B.J. Machen. The 6-foot-1, 221-pound Machen is a violent hitter who loves to fly to the ball and make opponents pay the price. We spoke with this top prospect last night about his recruitment.
Machen has had a very busy spring. In addition to the Yellowjackets and Orangemen, he has also been getting regular contact from teams like Penn State, Northwester, Michigan State, Cincinnati and Maryland, to name just a few.
