On Tuesday Canton (Ohio) South running back Devoe Torrence announced he had committed to Ohio State over a host of scholarship offers including Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Purdue and Indiana.

Today BuckeyeGrove looks at the impact of Torrence' decision.

First, Torrence' selection of Ohio State gives the Buckeyes another of the top prospects in the state of Ohio in the fold. It is always Jim Tressel's goal to build a fence around the state of Ohio and Tressel now has landed four of the top prospects in his home state without losing anyone to this point.
