10 a.m. Minnetonka vs. Mobile Leflore (AL)
WHO TO WATCH - MINNETONKA. The 7-2 Skippers have the best group of juniors in the state of Minnesota and the first player you think of is shooting guard Anthony Tucker. Tucker, a 6-foot-3 180 pound guard, has one of the sweetest shooting strokes you will see in the nation's class of 2008 and he's being recruited by high majors with a few offers from low majors. Teammate and fellow junior CJ Erickson is a 6-foot-5 wing who plays inside of the Skippers but is being looked at for his skill by mid-major teams in the Midwest.
Six-foot Skipper point guard junior Andy Burns is a very heady player who makes great decisions with the basketball opening up his talented teammates. Right now Andy has received some division one interest and it will interesting to see if he become a division one scholarship point as he is surely a division two kid at worst. He is averaging nine points a game while two more juniors are hitting double figures. First you have 6-foot-5 small forward Andrew Latzke giving Minnetonka 11.9 points a night with his shooting touch that ranks among Minnesota's best. Next to him there is Tyler Schilling averaging 10.9 points a game from the wing where he stands 6-foot-3. Tyler is the brother of former Gopher and Cal Poly player Shane Schilling.
