EAST LANSING - Michigan State claimed a share of the Big Ten regular season title and won the Big Ten Tournament last March.

The 2012-2013 Spartans finished the Big Ten regular season tied for second place with Ohio State with a 13-5 record in league play.

But this year's Michigan State team may be better equipped for a long run in the NCAA Tournament than last year's Draymond Green-led ballclub that lost to Louisville in the Sweet 16.
