K Michael Geiger of Ottawa Hill High School in Ohio
Mike Sadler was my host. I will definitely remember the basketball game because the Izzone was crazy! I definitely enjoyed the trip and it was awesome to be with so many of the commitments. I can't think of one thing in particular that a coach said but it was awesome to get to know the coaches better and there is no doubt in my mind that they are a great group of guys!"
LB Jon Reschke of Brother Rice High School in Michigan
Riley Bullough was my host. I will remember Saturday night. Once all the commits got back to the hotels at night, we all stayed up really late and just bonded with each other. A lot of guys said right then and there is where we became a family. The times I had with my future teammates was unbelievable. It was the best bonding experience we could ever go through. Time after time Coach Dantonio told me that I have a great opportunity in front of me with Max Bullough being the only middle linebacker in front of me. He sees a great future ahead of me depending on how hard I'm willing to work and how quickly I can learn the defense.
TE Dylan Chmura of Waukesha West High School in Wisconsin
"My host was Tyler O'Connor. The highlight was getting to meet a bunch of new people and develop friendships with them. I didn't want to leave so soon. The coaches told me I have a great opportunity to make an impact very soon."
DE Demetrius Cooper of Chicago Julian High School in Illinois
"LT (Lawrence Thomas) was my host. The one thing I will remember forever about this trip is that I will never experience anything like that ever again so I enjoyed every second! Words can't express how I felt about the trip. I never had that much fun with a group of guys in just 2 days. This is someyhing I'll remember forever. I did not want to leave. Coach Dantonio said that this is just the beginning, be ready to work hard and that I will always bleed Green."
WR Jay Harris of Downingtown East High School in Pennsylvania
"Brandon Clemons was my host. I will remember how all the players in my class bonded so well from the first time we met each other and the players already treat us like brothers. It is one big family and I love it. Words can't explain how much I liked my trip. Michigan State is truly an amazing place. Coach Dantonio said that he is going to treat me and the players as if we were his son. That means a lot to me because it shows how much he cares about us as players and young men."
RB Gerald Holmes of Flint Carman-Ainsworth High School, Michigan
"Mark Myers was my host. The best part for me was meeting a group of people who will be new family. I enjoyed everything about the trip, it was amazing. The most important thing that the coaches told me was "Be ready".
LB Shane Jones of Archbishop Moeller High School in Ohio
"My host was Taiwan Jones. What I will remember most is just spending time with my new teammates. Words can't describe how much I enjoyed this weekend. It was a great time being around my new family. Coach Dantonio told us that we are coming in at a great time and that we will win championships."
WR Trey Kilgore of St. Xavier High School in Ohio
"My host was Monty Madaris. The team camaraderie and how the players are so close. I've never felt so close to people I've just me. Everyone is hungry and wanting to compete. Everything was great. Coach Dantonio was telling me it looks like I have a chip on my shoulder and he likes that. I want them to see, a player that's determined and is never satisfied."
DT Devyn Salmon of Plant City High School in Florida
"My host was Jamal Lyles. The best past if the trip was seeing everything Michigan State has to offer both athletically and academically. I really did not want leave, that is how great an experience it was. My mom loved it just as much as me. The coaches said if I work hard I can come up there and compete for playing time."
QB Damion Terry of Erie Cathedral Prep High School, Pennsylvania
"Aaron Burbridge, was my host. It was the first time me being around every Spartan commit it was very special. Everyone started clicking and liked each other. I can't explain how much fun I had, I had the time of my life!"
