EAST LANSING - The morning after
Branden Dawson's injury scare, the sophomore forward is feeling fine.

"I talked to him this morning and he said it feels pretty good now, no real problem," head coach Tom Izzo said at his weekly press conference. "That seems to be all go."

Team doctors are continuing to look at it.

"He's being evaluated a little more," Izzo said. "It was just a tweak and a scare.

"There seems to be nothing wrong with the mechanism (of his knee). He came back in and didn't play quite the same, but didn't show any limping."

Izzo said there is no swelling in Dawson's knee, but the coach feared it was much worse when he first arrived at Dawson on the court after the fall took place.

"When I looked at his face, I thought it was a lot more than that, that's for sure," Izzo said. "I looked at his face, to me it was 99 percent blown again.

"He is a tough enough kid he sure didn't wimp it out.
