Prep Update: Terry continues to shine

SpartanMag.com Several Spartan commitments for the class of 2103 had big games on the field this weekend. SpartanMag.com has all the details on all of the future Michigan State Spartans including quarterback Damion Terry of Erie Cathedral Prep.
TE Dylan Chmura of Waukesha West High School, Wisconsin
Waukesha West rolled over Waukesha North by a score of 55-7
DE Demetrius Cooper of Chicago Julian High School, Illinois
Julian lost to Al Raby High School by a score of 42-18
OT Dennis Finley of Detroit Cass Tech High School, Michigan
Cass Tech was upset in a hotly contested PSL match-up by Detroit Martin Luther King. Both teams are now 6-2 and have qualified for the playoffs.
WR Jay Harris of Downingtown East High School, Pennsylvania
Harris continues to play well as Downingtown East rolled over Bishop Shanahan by a scored of 37-0 to improved to 7-0 on the season. Harris had 2 catches for 82-yards and a touchdown. To see the write-up about Harris' highlight reel TD, click the link below.

CB Darian Hicks of Solon High School, Ohio
Hicks had six receptions for 109 yards and a TD in a 29-22 loss to Twinsburg. Hicks also had a 40-yard punt return to set up another TD. The loss dropped Solon to 4-4 on the season.
RB Gerald Holmes of Flint Carman-Ainsworth, Michigan
Carman-Ainsworth got back on track and defeated Flint Southwestern by a score of 49-0. Holmes scored a 1st half touchdown for the Cavaliers and spent much of second half sitting out due to the score.
LB Shane Jones of Cincinnati Moeller High School, Ohio
Archbishop Moeller rolled of Indianapolis Cathedral by a score of 48-13. Jones and the Crusader defense held Cathedral to 217-yards to improve to 6-2 on the season.
WR Trey Kilgore of Cincinnati St. Xavier High School, Ohio
Kilgore made his season debut for the Bombers and caught a 20-yard touchdown pass, however it was not enough as Lakewood St. Edwards won the game 27-16. St. X out-gained St. Ed's, but made too many costly mistakes to get the victory.
DB Jalyn Powell of Warren Haring High School, Ohio
Harding won its 7th straight game by defeating Cleveland Heights by a score 0f 34-28. Harding is now 7-1 on the season.
LB Jon Reschke of Brother Rice High School, Michigan
Brother Rice kicked a 30-yard field goal with 8 seconds left to lift the Warriors to a 30-29 victory over Cincinnati LaSalle. The win improved Brother Rice to 6-2 and clinched a play-off spot for the 14th consecutive year. Spartan 2014 RB target Brian Walker rushed for 178-yards on 31 carries.
DT Devyn Salmon of Plant City High School, Florida
Plant City fell to 4-4 on the season as the lost to Alonso High School by a score of 27-10.
RB R.J. Shelton of Beaver Dam High School, Wisconsin
Shelton carried 15 times for 80-yards and scored a touchdown in a 33-10 loss to Wisconsin Lutheran. The game was the final one for Shelton. He was able to eclipse the 5000-yard mark for his career in the game.
QB Damion Terry of Erie Cathedral Prep High School, Pennsylvania
Cathedral Prep was trailing 9-7 at halftime, but rallied behind Terry to win going away 34-9. Terry finished the game 352 passing yards along with 2 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing one. He now has 25 touchdown passes on the season an only 1 interception based on our data.
ATH Delton Williams of Erie Cathedral Prep High School, Pennsylvania
Williams rushed for 1 touchdown and caught 7 passes for 63-yards to help Cathedral improved to 7-0 on the season.
