Preview: Uncommitted Official Visitors
This coming weekend Michigan State will host some of the top prospects in the nation on official recruiting visits. The Spartans have a limited amount of scholarships available and the players on campus this weekend could put the finishing touches on the class of 2011. Below is a look at who will be on campus, and what teams Mark Dantonio and his staff are competing with.
WR Juwan Caesar of Coral Park High School in Florida
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound wideout has seen his recruiting stock shoot through the roof in recent weeks. Caesar has picked up numerous BCS offers since he finished his senior season. Caesar is expected to select between Michigan State, West Virginia, Illinois and Central Florida. He is rated a 3-star recruit by Rivals.com
LB Frank Clark of Glenville High School in Cleveland, Ohio
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Clark will be taking his second official visit, he visited North Carolina back in December. Clark, who is rated a 3-star recruit, was supposed to visit Michigan last weekend, but that trip was cancelled due to the coaching chaos. Clark could be the first player Coach Dantonio has signed from Glenville High School which produces BCS talent every year.

OL/DL Brandon Clemons of Delaware Valley High School in Pennsylvania
The 6-foot-4, 255-pound Clemons is rated a 4-star recruit and the #233 player in the nation for the class of 2011 by Rivals.com. Clemons' visit to Michigan State is expected to be his final official recruiting trip. He has already taken official visits to Boston College, Maryland and Connecticut. His ability to project on either side of the ball makes him a valuable prospect.

OL Jacob Fisher of Traverse City West High School, Michigan
The 6-foot-7, 270-pound prospect still considers himself committed to the University of Michigan, but decided to look around due to the Michigan coaching change. Fisher has visits scheduled to East Lansing this weekend and then plans on going to Florida and Oregon the following weeks. Coach Hoke will certainly try and prevent those visits from happening. Fisher is rated a 3-star recruit by Rivals.com.
ATH Desimon Green on Calirton High School, Pennsylvania
The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Green is one of the most versatile athletes in the nation for the class of 2011. He led his high school team to the state championship playing quarterback and played wide receiver in a post-season All-State game. The 3-star prospect could play offense or defense at the next level. He is also considering Rutgers and Texas Tech and has visits scheduled with them for later this month.
RB Savon Huggins of St Peter's Prep School in Jersey City, New Jersey
The 6-foot-0, 190-pound Huggins is a rated the #7 running back in the nation and the #53 player overall by Rivals.com. Huggins has already taken official visits to Notre Dame, North Carolina and Auburn. He also has a visit scheduled for January 21st to Rutgers. The Spartans view him as player that could come in and eventually replace All-Big Ten running back Edwin Baker.
DT Marquise Wright of Paramus Catholic High School, New Jersey
Wright is a 6-foot-3, 290-pound tackle prospect that has scholarship offers from all over the country. Rivals.com rates him as a 4-star recruit and the #6 defensive tackle in the nation. They also have him as the #69 player overall. Wright has visited Maryland and North Carolina and has Michigan State and Miami the next two weeks. Wright and Huggins are the top 2 prospects in New Jersey for the class of 2011.
If the Spartans are able to land 3 or 4 of the above player they will guarantee themselves on of the top recruiting classes in the Big Ten and one that will certainly compete for championships.
